I got this one too as well as the same thing from a Ketty Booker at kettybooker2001@gmail.com. Saying she had to send it to west Africa as a gift for her brother. I think they should all eat shit together for wasting our time.

This girl contacted me, too. I even offered the camera for free after hearing "single mom, TA at a church, for my pastor". Then she accidentally sent me the same thing again and I got suspicious and googled her email and found this. Thank you so much, I saw all of this before I gave her any of my info and STILL have my camera. Yay!

Anyway, I recently refurbished a laptop and put it up on craigslist. I got all the same e-mails listed above. Talk about a bad day for the idiot on the other end. I'm a criminal justice student and I work with computers.

Here was my final response: "I'm a Criminal Justice Student.
....Now, you were saying? Or would you prefer I track you down, gift wrap you, and hand you over to police?"
Needless to say, I'm enjoying my virtual manhunt, just for the sport of it.

Kept insisting that I send her my paypal info to send me the payment, after reading all the posts, this is for sure a scam. They have you send the item and then they claim that they never authorized the purchase. And then your out the item and its cost.
Well this scammer is still at it. Got the identical message at 2 am this morning.

Glad I found this blog! I just received the exact same email in response to an ad for a camera I posted on Craigs List. She asked for my PayPal account number and said it was a gift for her pastor.
I told her the camera still needed a cleaning and she just said she needed it ASAP and I'd have to ship it, and she could send me a money order if I gave her my full name and address.
told "her" I would only do local transactions since someone else tried to scam me online recently. I am never going to ship anything. Cash only!
Great, just had her respond to me the same way, just the initial response at 2 am. using the email granmakids3@gmail.com
